your vcr has a video and audio in and out. so does your tv. the question is what method or wiring config you want to use. hdmi is the best, then component (red bule and green) or composite , the old yellow (video) white and red (audio). find the in AND out on both and connect with wire of your choice. remember your tv video and audio or hdmi carries both are receiving out signals from your vcr. so it is vcr out to tv in. then tv out to vcr in. good luck
