    With 2 people travelling on same flight, can one luggage be over the 20kg limit if 2nd passenger's luggage is less than 20kg.but togrther equal 40kg?

    No, they are weighed individually, not together. Transfer some items from the heavy bag to the lighter bag.

    No mess with the airlines.  They are so strict right now.


    You cannot even hand carry over 7 kilos for international flights.  They made us remove everything from our hand carry bags, then told me that I couldn't take the bag on board because of the length (not weight) of the bag.


    The airline lady made one mistake: bragging in her language to her flight attendant friends about what she was going to put me through.  I happened to understand what she said.   I reported her to the airline's complaint department after I returned home.


    The airline has agreed to upgrade me to business class on my next flight to Asia because of her insensitive remarks.  It doesn't pay to be rude to passengers.
