    why is my yarn coming out frayed on my latchook?

    I am doing a latchook and every piece of yarn is coming out frayed after i pull it through the canvas why?

    Try holding the yarn taut with your other hand, while you turn & hook it with your dominant hand. A taut yarn should not fray ; the hook will easily hook on to it, without snagging it. 
    It's the same rule as for crochet.
