    how long will wine last in a bottle and still be drinkable

    Most wines if stored correctly are best drunk wihin 2 years, however once opened they are best consumed in around 2 - 3days.

    I agree with you Maz although I usually consume an opened bottle in 2-3 hours MAX.Just in case its an early spoiler ;-)

    Same here. Never been known for a bottle to last more than an evening at our house lol.

    Not enough was given. Reds are made to be put up for a while and get better with time and care. Whites are made to be enjoyed early, aging doesn't add to it but take away from them. There are some exceptions to this rule. After opening  bottle of wine the air goes to work on it. Try and use,share it all. Use the leftovers in cooking,use as a tenderizer. Don't wast wine it makes me sad to think anybody would.
