    Can mold produce an infectious bacteria?

    I have a bacterial infection in my sinus cavity. I have a lot of mold in my apartment. Is there a link between mold and infections?

    Molds and bacteria are two different types of organism, and one cannot become the other.
    but silly chook is correct, moulds are harmful to your health.
    Mold is a fungus, which produce spores, which can carry bacteria. Mold is very dangerous and should be removed from your apartment. Bleach is a good mold killer, but make sure you wear a mask and have good air venting to avoid breathing it.
