    would it be safe to use a dilute solution of household bleach to remove stains from my dentures?

    I wouldn't do that if i were you.  Denture goes in your mouth and you want to use what?

    well, of course i would rinse all the bleach off wouldnt i ?

    If they are whiteish chalky deposits, soak the gnashers in vinegar overnight. then scrub  with a nylon brush and washing-up liquid.
