Too many. If the US sent 10 million troops into that cesspool it wouldn't matter.
Afghanistan will always be the backward dusty ARM PIT of the world where the people feel ANY after life has to be better than where they are now. They believe ALLAH is on their side.
That's why they will fight until the end of time to remove ANY foreign troops from their land.
