Yes. The mark goes all the way around the inside of the pot and it is very dull. Kind of like a ring that a glass would leave on a wooden table.

You've scrubbed off the finish from cleaning it so much. The ring is where the food sticks the most because the glazing is gone. There's nothing you can do. No way to get the glazing or shine back. Sorry.
