The LORD Is My Shepherd

1 The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures:

he leadeth me beside the still waters.

he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,

thou anointest my head with oil;

Another one of mine is. Jesus wept. The shortest verse in the Bible and it says so much. His compassion for us. He felt sorrow just like us. HE wept.

Romans 8:28 For all things work to the good of those that love the Lord.

My favorite verse is John 3:16

1Peter3:18 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins,the just for the unjust,that he might bring us to God,being put to death in the flesh,but quickened by the Spirit:

Jam 2:23 And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.

What an honor, to be called the Friend of God!

This is about as pure a HODINKEE experience as you're going to get.
