Anywhere that's considered in the middle of nowhere. My sister-in-law said my house was in Timbuktu when she came to visit the one and only time from the southern part of the state which is considered by many to be part of Massachusetts!
Timbuktu formerly also spelled Timbuctoo, is a town in the West African nation of Mali.
