Did the laptop work faster when it was new? If not, what is the speed of your internet connection? Do you defrag the hard drive regularly? Do you have it protected with an antivirus program?
I would suggest you join an online computer support group and read their many solutions to problems such as yours. Google computer support group.

Instructions
