    Marieb I guess if this is more personal than general interest you better go ask the priest, or go to Vegas. If you want a religious ceremony they will supply an ordained minister, but nobody asks your religion. Vegas weddings can be anything you want them to be from a celeb-style bash to quiet & really beautiful.
    Yes they can. They have to agree to bring up any children as Catholics.

    Catholics can be very strict. I do know of another couple where the woman wasn't one & she had to study for months & become one before the wedding. I do agree it varies. Sometimes the Catholic marries in the other person's church. I know Methodists allow that. I guess it depends where you live... and on the priest.
