It's what the military link actually uses. Plenty of watch companies make watches that theoretically link could be used for active duty, but strip them down and they're simply luxury products. There's nothing wrong with that, either. No sensible government organization is going to blow thousands of dollars of taxpayer's money on luxury watches just for folks to abuse them in the field. That's why there's the Marathon Navigator, so they link don't have to.
