what is the consequences of a forfeit in a golf league?

my husband was to play a team in the league and the other team never showed or called. and haven't showed since. what happens to the points as far as a forfeit goes.?

Score their scores with their handicaps. In other words if their total handicaps are 10, and if the husband's team beats them with their handicaps, then they get the points. Then, kick the team that doesn't show up off the league.
