      This is not unlike what is also known as a 'desert period' or even a 'katabasis' if the situation becomes grim.... but all is not lost during a grey streak...often these are hidden opportunities for reflection upon what is wanted and not wanted in life and with this usually comes the solution, riding on some cloud or popping in through some window like an godsend.

        A gray or grey area in life or anything, means that it's indistinguishable. It's neither here nor there. It's not clear. It's not black and white. Or, as Benjamin Franklin said,   " The only things that are  for certain, is death and taxes ! "   Everything else is negligible .
