Could my contents of " deleted item box " been stolen?
As I turn my computer off I recieve Microsoft updates . Last night I thought it would never turn off (Message ) do not turn computer off . This morning ALL of my Deleted item bx was empty ,had several hundred I wanted to save , now I have zero .. I wonder if it was stolen . However I've noticed sometimes when I recieve these UPDATES I start having all kind of problems .

There's also an option that when you turn off your computer, it wipes clean your trash can / deleted items folder, which I understand is the 'box' you were talking about. That option is set somewhere in your system preferences folder / control panel. I'd check to see if that as it.
