      Several options (separately or combined): 1. Exercise.  2. Therapeutic massage.  3. Injection.  4. Acupuncture.  Best thing is to consult your doctor.

        Muscle spasms definitely bite .... you can try OTC meds like Aleve or Motrin...takes away some of the misery....also try alternating moist heat and moist cold...rest doesn't hurt either but not for too long....moving around seems to help some
