    What is the value of the real estate owned by the United States Government.

    it is purported that the Federal Government owns 1/3 of all the land in the country. With all of the foreclosures in the past three years, it may be even higher.

      Yep I would venture to say they have it about all now but all us poor people cannot afford to buy it from them so where does that leave them now?
