    what would cause a constant humming sound while driving down the road

    i rotated my tires they hum going straight and when turning to the right but goes quiet when turning to the left my veh. is a dodge 2wd ram 1500

      It's the tread on your tires. When making a turn more of the outer wall will be on the pavement lessening the sound of the hum.
