In order to download music to your iphone you need to sign up to itunes: http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
Once you sign in you can connect your iphone to your comuter and move songs from the computer to your iphone. With an itunes account you can download songs directly to your iphone also. Go to the link that I attached and there you'll get all the instructions you need.
