If your doorknob is made with this alloy of copper and zinc, it naturally disinfects itself. How many hours does it take to sanitize?

The alloy derived from copper and zinc is brass.  It does not CLEAN itself, but the following website tells you how to clean brass:

As to self-disinfection, I quote:  Many infections can be spread by doorknobs. Brass doorknobs disinfect themselves in about eight hours, while stainless steel and aluminium knobs never do.

I wasn't familiar with link the Wadden Sea link prior to learning of this Oris collaboration, and I suspect many readers in the United States link are in the same boat. So what the story behind Oris producing a watch in its honor?
