    What brand and type of paint should I paint the CEDAR siding of our house? Type of caulking?

    We live in the Chicago suburbs. The house was built in 1996 and has not been since them original gray paint. Is it worth the cost of a second coat of paint?

      Don't paint it stain it, unless it's been painted already, then a good oil base paint.

        seriously? Why would you paint cedar siding? Power wash it and put a nice sealer on it. Caulk it with an expanding latex clear caulk.
