    I'm not sure about objects, but our daughter would recognize The sound of my truck coming to the hospital when she was born. 7.3 diesel was a little louder than they are nowadays.

    babies learn quicker than we know. researchers say human know 80% of what they are ever gong to learn by age three. Do you believe that. They may not be talking that much yet, but they are taking it in. My guess is that they recognize certain things, like mom and dad within a few months.
