      Angel is right. If you call your son Joseph you and your son's friends can always decide to nickname him Joey. But throughout is adult life, and especially in his professional life, he will be doing far better with "Joseph".

          Am not awfy sure bout 'Joey' i like a name that grows into adulthood and I personally don't think Joey does, sorry. Joseph however has substance and meaning and can be altered and nicknamed according to taste.
