It's a sausage (pig) wrapped in a biscuit (blanket).

we call it the same but ours is a sausage wrapped in bacon which is the blanket (UK version )

A pig in a blanket can be anything you want, as long as it has a pork thing wrapped up in something else edible. It can be a sausage link wrapped in biscuit dough, but we have found recipes that use hot dogs, Vienna sausages, kielbasa, and cocktail sausages in croissant dough, pancakes, pie dough, etc., etc.

here is some thing cute and funny!""
