    Is it easy to dig up and transplant peonies?

    It is easy enough to dig them up - but very difficult to replant them correctly. They must be planted at exactly the same level as they were previously. If they were not blooming - they are planted too deep or the roots are too close to the surface. Look for the level of dirt on the stems - the part above the dirt will be colored - the part below the dirt will be white or lighter colored. Make sure the white or lighter part of the stem is below the ground and the colored part it above the ground.
    yes it is easy.you can split them up to make more plants also. the only problem is that when you move them,the will not flower until the second year after planting.
