    3. The sound on my system is not working properly. I can hear music on Iplayer, but the dialogue is muffled. Same when I try playing a DVD on the laptop. The background music on the DVD is fine but not voices. Any ideas?

      If this isn't the issue, I suggest you contact the manufacturer of your computer and ask them directly what the problem could be. You haven't told us what make of computer that is, but you can easily look up their website and contact them there.
