feed or put some mineral oil or olive oil in throat. Try putting in rectal with a  cotton q tip

Vet told me to use Castor oil.  That was AFTER they gave him an enema.  We're talking a Persian Cat here and they didn't clean him up before they gave him back to me.  Talk about awful.  Point of the conversation is - it is very painful for the cat and could cause a blockage in his intestine or colon or whatever.   He might need an ex ray to see if he's blocked.  

Good luck if you try the rectal with a cotton q-tip.  Wish I could be there to see that.

Gently pull it out with a paper towel.  Otherwise, I'd try to use a Q-tip with some vaseline to loosen up the stool.
