    I cannot get the calculator to wake up and enter into the Mac Computer

      Do you mean the gadget calculator that's part of your Mac Dashboard app? If it's unresponsive it could indicate that the computer has slowed down and doesn't have enough processing power anymore. You need to close down open programs and that might help, or better yet shut down the computer and let it cool off.
