    What is a good thing to research about Iceland?

    I have a project to do and I have to do it on Iceland. Stupid, I know. Anyways I think Iceland is exremely boring, thus I can not find any thing interesting to research about on the topic! Please help me!

      Two interesting facts about Iceland you can research and make your report about.


      1) Iceland has no standing army. It relies on NATO to patrol it. Crime rate in Iceland is extremely low and the police officers do not carry guns and have other duties beside being a police officer. What makes the island so safe?


      2) 80% of it's energy comes from renewable sources, 20% comes from oil.You could research that to see how they make it possible.
