I hope you are not considering using steroids at all. Sounds like you want to know what the risk factors are so you can make a personal decision about their use. Steroids are used medically in some patients for various reasons and a doctor monitors that usage. Steroids are NEVER the answer if you are wanting to 'bulk up'. Abuse of steroids can cause heart problems and impedance as well as a host of other things. Just stay away from them and build up the old fashion way, pump iron.
