      This depends on which type odor . Do you mean the odor  after a person goes #2, or urine odor that has soaked into the carpet or old flooring? Can you be more specific  about  the issue you are experiencing?

        If the odor is coming from your drains, it is possible the traps are not installed properly. Check with a person knowledgeable about plumbing.

          Keep everything clean, use bleach or products with bleach in them. You can use a plug-in type deodorizer in between also.
