    3. my OB/GYN doctor told me that I have herpes,, and then I speak to my Primary physician and explain to him, that i have no idea how i contracted the disease, because im not a promiscua person and i really trust my husband of 21 years old, and the thing is that is me the one with the disease, but my doctor tell me that is nothing, that is shingle,nothing to worry about, can you explain this to me please!!!!!!!!

          SHINGLES ARE CAUSED BY THE HERPES VIRUS (CARRIED BY CHICKENPOX).  GENITAL HERPES IS A SEXUAL TRANSMITTED DISEASE.  HOWEVER, I AGREE WITH daren1 ASK YOUR DR. TO EXPLAIN FURTHER.
