    There is no upper side on a triangle.  There are two side, and a bottom. The two sides' lines  go on a diagonal from a  point where they both meet

    Unless your wanting to try to find the degree of the top vertex. But that also depends on what type of triangle it is. Its could be an equalateral, scalene or isosilies. In the end though......the " triangle angles " WILL add up to 180 degrees. ---->      side #1                side #1                  side #3

                                      TOTAL DEGREES : 180 DEGREES

    And the diagonal point where they both meet is called a vertex.
