Is she a retired rescue dog or still active?  Sounds like she's retired and bored. (Kind of like me!).  Did she used to chase balls?  If not, don't make her chase them.  Just let her walk.  Has she been checked over by a vet for Hip Dysplasia or arthritis or Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome or  anything like that?   If not, take her to the Vet of course to rule everything out.  I hope things get better for her. 

Not all dogs like fetch or balls. Some just like to cuddle and take long walks on the shore... Sometimes it is about what your dogs is and not what you want them to be.

did you mean to say "rescue" or "rescued"?

what kind of dog is it? We have a spoodle (looks like a rastafarian mop/wookie cross) that cant be bothered doing a thing, its in very goog health but he would have a rest between rests if he could. ;-)

God knows whats happened to her in her past with previous owners,she might be fearful of doing anything in case she gets in trouble ,Give her plenty of love and cuddles ,she needs reassurance that she is accepted.

As Pythonlover said give her more attention you really dont know  what kind of life she has had before you got her and talk to her like she is part of the family and take her in the car and everywhere you go and she will feel she is part of your life good luck and thank you for taking in a rescue Dog paws for ever
