      Because one person owns all the property there. $800,000 and its yours.

        I don't know. It's just weird that  a whole town is being put up for sale. But if you say there are towns with only one resident it makes it clearer.

          There are more than one, but that one bought almost all the property as people abandoned the old town. She is now in failing health and has put the property up for sale.
