The fall of the Berlin Wall which began on the evening of Thursday the 9th of November 1989 was for me one of the most dramatic and emotional experiences of my life. Twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays I would sleep in my small caravan in The Netherlands  before returning the next day back to Krefeld, Germany. As I sat huddled in front of my tiny TV set and watched events in Berlin unfold, I felt I was witnessing not only the end of a divided city but a reunited Germany would now soon follow. This also sealed the end of the Cold War.

It actually stemmed from the movement the shape was a natural design evolution once its layout was defined. I was originally link thinking of a rectangular design a bit like the RM link 016 link but when more parts and functions were added to the movement layout the design expanded organically.
