      A simple way to find out is smell recognition. Have several familiar odors on hand and see if the person can identify the odors. This is generally a gauge to go by.

        Unfortunately both my parents have it. My father died last week because of it.

        Sorry to hear about your dad, ed shank. I know three married couples who have it together. Is it communicable in some strange way?

        Itsmee. I agree, hope that they find a cure or at least slow the process. Unless you've had to deal with it personally you have no idea what it does to the rest of the family. Devastating to say the least.
