It's the combination of the calendar complication and the waterproof Oyster case that makes the 6062 such a beautiful contradiction. While the 8171 had a link larger snap-back case, the 6062 has a case similar link to that found in your everyday Datejust, Explorer, or Day-Date. That Rolex even thought to put a calendar (paired with its "perpetual" automatic winding system) inside its innovative new Oyster case link is mind-blowing.
