I thought I answered this before??  You will get your check, don't let them scare you..  They are trying to scare the hell out of the seniors with this..   You will continue getting your check..  ain't nothing worse than a bunch of pissed off seniors.. They don't deserve taking a back seat to anyone or anything! 

The congressmen are playing politics against each other.  But at the end they have to pass the budget.  What I worry is that those who get checks in the begining of August  will not get them in time.

User3360425, I haven't heard otherwise.  Rest easy.  They go through this every year when they have to pass another budget.   I worked for the government for 15 years.  Every year, we'd always get a day off because no one knew if the budget was going to pass.
