They have kits that are specifically made for skin tag removal but it might only be here in Canada unless you guys have stuff by "Dr. Scholl's" if not, you can order it online. It might save you some pain and possible irritation of surrounding skin.

Yes you can. Several months ago I caught an episode of Dr. Oz in which this topic was addressed. You must be careful to not get the solution on the surrounding healthy tissue. Also, it takes several applications to completely remove the skin tag. This does actually work. Be prepared to have some minor soreness during the removal process. I repeat, minor. Should you have swelling or serious redness, consult your physician.
