I'm so sorry to hear this sad news about your son. Medications and treatments have progressed so much since this Aids epidemic began in the 80's.  I've read where most people live 20 years or more these days. I know at this point there is nothing much anyone can say to comfort you but, there are many good people here whom will listen and provide a good shoulder to cry on while you are going through this difficult time. You will be in my thoughts and my prayers. CB 

My friend had a brother who had Aids. That  was 10 yrs. ago. When he got sick, my friend brought him to his home and his mother moved in too and they took care of him. I stopped by almost every day. There was no blame, just concern and love.. There are many new drugs out there that will help your son. I am sorry it happenend to him. Love and prayers.

Sorry Face to hear this about your son. As pythonlover stated, with all the medications that is now available, your son has a better chance living a wholesome life. Magic Johnson is a good example.

I pray that your wife be strengthen and given hope that all will be well with her son.  God bless you and your family.

Sorry to hear about your son. Stopping drugs is so hard to do, having had my issues with them as a young man, I can relate.

Aww. Facebook..  I wish I could wrap my arms around you and your son. The news is so shocking to both of you. And it sounds like a death sentence when you heard it. But there is hope!!!! This may be what he need to shake him up from his addiction. I worked with teen challange international. A christian drug rehab. They have seen plenty of addicts come to know Christ after being diagnosed. Now they are pastors in their own churches and many travel the world to speak. Life is going to change.. but it is not over. I love you. Stay strong.

my thoughts as well and prayers are with you as well as your son, i know by your kind words that your a beleiver i'll pray that your son comes to know the lord as well, words alone i'm sure can't express the pain we share . without saying you know how medicine has come a long way, it's not a death sentance like it once was, two good friends of mine have been living a normal healthy life for over 25 years now, god willing your son will live forever.. yours truelly in christ ..daren

Daren! Thank You for your comfort words But for the last 10 yr fighting this illness with medication,now he  had an arm amputate above the elbow,so more antibiotic only make his addiction worst ,now also fighting custody for his son &  wife.Now the DR. tell him that he has AID. Still more blood text ,it almost a sure thing Gog Willing, I'd Rather it be me for my life is over in this life,sitting here day after day..waiting to keel over.TK.MAY GOD BESS YOU ALL FOR MY TROUBLE..

My Dear Facebook I am so sorry to learn that your Son has Aids I will prey for and I hope you get the strenght to stay strong for him as this is the most important that you show him that you can fight for him on the brighter side you will both come through this and the treatment out there is really good now not like the 90s where I lost a few friends to Aids you will get your strengh from God just ask and will give my thoughts and preyers are with you
