      The Flying Scotsman is an express passenger train service that has been running between London and Edinburgh—the capitals of England and Scotland respectively—since 1862. It is currently operated by the East Coast train operating company.

        The actual locomotive 'Flying Scotsman' Class A3 No 4472 was built in 1923. It was the first steam loco to travel at 100mph.


        Of course the Flea-ing Scotsman is something else.
