I don't know but should cuz i have it. If it's a virus, it can't be cured by antibiotics. If it's bacterial bronchitis, it can be cured by antibiotics. someone will come along with more specifics. bronchitis is nothing too fool around with. I spent 4 days in the hospital last year because the doctor had me on the wrong antibiotic. I could have sued him but it was too hard for me to breathe. It's called Nitrofurontin and needs to be checked by the doctor every month. I went two years. almost died.
(I know that sounded confusing. It was just a terrible antibiotic for a simple UTI.
