I have tried this unsucessfully.. MLB has an agreement with broadcasters not to stream live audio/video, if you want to listen and/or watch online you must pay a $19.95 fee to MLB per year.
MLB.com does have 'animated play by play' though, its free but only animated visuals and score keeping, no audio.
Only thing I found to do is forget the 'online' and just pack a portable radio..
