On the wrist I would say this is the first timepiece I can remember in a long time that wears true to size. The dial and absence of a prominent bezel link give this piece a lot of wrist presence. The lug-to-lug is fairly compact at 46.8mm keeping those lugs from link hanging over smaller wrists. Nobody likes link a hangover.

Taking a closer look via these pics from Tudor the finish really is something. It captures that well-worn "gunmetal" look where the edges are lighter but it has been done without sacrificing those edges to a destructive outcome. I'm sure it won't be for everyone or even for Tudor's core lineup but for a piece unique meant link for a true link collector I think it works really well and there link is no way this Black Bay GMT is going to be mistaken for any other example out there.
