Hi jazmine now about your cat do you mean haow many layers of fur! this all depends on what type of cat you have i have a British Blue and he has three layers of fur I also have a short haired cat a heinze 57 and he has two layers of fur and I have Weggie cat she has 3 layers of fur and it is really thinck because of where she comes from she can stand -30 in the wild though I would never leave her out in such weather good luck Jazmine and dont for get to brush your cat at least once aweek

I suppose if you sit counting cat hairs, it will keep you out of trouble. I can lend you a magnifying glass.  Ask the cat how many hairs it has, you may hear it speak.
