i think you should try and resucitate anyone who needs it.

No need to ask this person if they want to be resusitated,if the worse happens, sure go ahead, just as you would do for any other co worker.

If your Qualified in CPR the Law states, you must use all reasonable means to perserve a LIFE, failure to do so subjects one to criminal and/or civil liability.  If, you attempt to save a life as long as you don't exceed your training your protected by the GOOD SAMARITAN ACT from any liability. 

i would assume they did unless they told me otherwise the fact they are working says they think they have something to offer

Call 911 first and then perform CPR on him until the paramedics come.

Basically ,cant go wrong performing life saving techniques. Now, that is only chest compressions.
