Sarcomas are cancerous tumors that arise from connective tissue or flesh tissue.
Low grade sarcomas are treated surgically. Though sometimes radiation and/or chemotherapy is added.
Intermediate and high grade sarcomas are teated with a combination of surgery, chemotherapy, and/or radiation therapy.
Higher grade sarcomas usually metastasize, so they need to be treated more aggresively.
