serial killers, why they kill

who is the most famouse serial killer, or someone who stands out for his weird victims or the way he kills them? which do you think or kno of?(around the world)

another question..... WHY DO YOU THINK HUMANS KILL OTHER HUMAN BEINGS

i'm doing a paper on one, so it will be really good if someone gave me one's with a smart patterned way of killing, i have to discuss the patterns and link it to the past, so if you have anyone on mind just write it down plz, i'll do my research on them more :)

looking at that link, alot of prostitutes are involved, does anybody have a general idea on why MEN like to kill PROSTITUTES?

Gary Ridgeway the Green River Killer was asked why he killed all these prostitutes and he said "well, they are only prostitutes". His own mother had men coming and going throughout his childhood. I think by killing, he killed his mother over and over again.

In America we have had a lot like Ted Bundy, ,John Wayne Gacy, the Zodiac killer, Richard Rameriz and David Berkowitz etc..
In Canada there is David Russell Williams
and in England there is Jack the Ripper and many other throughout the world like Hitler, Stalin as well as Saddam Hussein.

Check this site for all the major serial killers by country and by number of murders. It took a lot of research to find it but, is crazy how many people commit such horrible acts.

There is a book by Alice Miller, a world famous psychotherapist"For your own good" Hidden Cruelty in childrearing and the Roots of Violence. It is a poweful book. She wrote several others" The Drama of the gifted Child" and Thou shalt no be aware"

They start early. First, they kill cats or any other animal in a horrible way.

We had some awful killers here. They were not the full quid, of course. One of them used to torture goats by slowly slitting their throats. Stupid neighbours never turned him in for cruelty. Later on, he and four others abducted a former Miss Australia on her way home from work. They took her to bushland. They raped her repeatedly, and then cut her head off with a shovel while she begged for her life. They were caught and are now spending their lives in goal, never to be released.
